The Egyptian Journal of Pure and Applied Science (EJPAS) is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal of the Faculty of Science, (ASU). EJPAS publishes one volume per year focusing mainly on full research papers that covering different aspects in applied and pure science. The journal welcomes also review articles as well as short communications.
In its field, EJPAS has been in circulation since 1957 and aiming now to provide an online compendium that covers different aspects in diverse areas of Science including but not limited to: human, animal, cellular, molecular, environmental and industrial in addition to other fields related to pure and applied physics, mathematics, chemistry and earth science.
The Editor-in-Chief reviews all submitted manuscripts that must comply with EJPAS instructions for authors and independently or in consultation with an Associate Editor, decides if a manuscript is appropriate for review by members of EJPAS's Editorial board and/or reviewers. The Editorial Office is assisted by scientists who serve as Associate Editors, Editorial board members, and reviewers are chosen for their research carrier expertise.
The journal aims to provide constructive evaluation and fair and rapid editorial processing. Manuscripts outside of the scope of journal will be returned without the delay of a full review, generally within a week of submission. Authors may contact the Editor-in-Chief in advance to inquire about the potential suitability of their research topic for review.
Manuscript submissions from all researchers are encouraged. All information on the manuscript style and formatting is described in detail in the "Guide for Authors" under "Submit your article". The process should be made using the online submission system.

Publication Charges
The publication fee is payable only if a manuscript is accepted for publication. There is an additional fee for color figures. Instruction for payment will be sent during the publication process and the invoice will be available on the manuscript login page after a manuscript is accepted. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.
Fees:
Submission Fee. 500 Egyptian Pounds for Egyptian Authors (50 US Dollars for non-Egyptian Authors). The authors should pay this fee with the articles’ submission for review.
Publication Charge. 1500 Egyptian Pounds for Egyptian Authors (150 US Dollars for non-Egyptian Authors). The authors should pay this fee post-acceptance of the article. A publication fee is required to cover the cost of the publication process and should be paid before copyediting and open-access publication, as well as journal indexing and archiving. We will provide print copies (150 Egyptian Pounds or 25 USD/5 copies) for authors who really need them, authors are requested to kindly fill an application form to request the print copies. Additionally, we are happy to provide the journal’s eBook in PDF format for authors, free of charge. This will be the same as the printed version. Accepted manuscripts will be published for a set fee including the first 8 printed pages. An additional fee will be charged for each additional page over (8 pages).
Copyright policy:
The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright, and to retain publishing rights without any restrictions.

Plagiarism:
The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using professional plagiarism-checking software. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index resulting from plagiarism are rejected immediately.
